Shari Rich

Shari is the Lower Camp Director at Camp Jacobson. As a lifelong camper, counselor, and group leader, Shari has literally grown up in camp! She has spent the last eight summers of her career at Camp Jacobson, starting in 2010 as the Inclusion Coordinator. Shari’s love for camp and children began before her time at Camp Jacobson. She has spent 26 years in the field of education as a Special Education Teacher. For 17 of those years, she taught in the Great Neck Public Schools and prior to that taught for the New York City Board of Education in Forest Hills, Queens. Shari looks forward to spending,  each day at camp watching the campers flourish as they explore new opportunities to discover their full potential.
